About Main Street

It's all about why.

On every Main Street in every town across our nation, there's a financial institution, a place where they know the names of their customers, a place that still believes in hard work, a firm handshake, and an unwavering look into a customer’s eyes. Since our inception in 1998 as a family-owned company, we have built our business around the belief that such places are important. What we do is provide checks and checking-related products and services to community financial institutions across the country. And, it’s worth noting that how we do what we do is unique, given that we provide our customers with a toll-free number that leads to a living and breathing human being, who actually knows them by name, can answer their questions and help them with whatever they need – no small feat in the age of impersonal business. But, why do we do what we do? It’s our belief in how important our customers are to our country that motivates us.

We have built a team with exceptional skills focused on delivering the best customer experience possible. At the end of the day, we’re about hiring real people, who are personable, genuine, and pleasant. Here’s our team:

Ted Walton


Prior to taking on the leadership of Main Street, Ted held a number of positions including Vice President of Support Services and Chief Operating Officer at Mspark, the largest privately held shared mail company in the United States. As Chief Operating Officer of Mspark, Ted was responsible for serving more than 550 markets in 27 states. Ted has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Troy University.

Jeff McEnaney

Director of Operations

With more than 30 years in print production management, Jeff brought considerable talent to Main Street, Inc. Prior to Main Street, Jeff held positions ranging from Director of Quality & Prepress Operations with IPC to Director of Print Operations with Imperial Graphics. In addition to earning his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, Jeff has his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova.

Tom Settle

Chief Technology Officer

Having started his career as an electrical engineer in the defense industry, Tom migrated to consulting, then to information technology, and then to business and leadership positions. He served in various roles at MailSouth, Inc., including seven years as its president and as a member of its board of directors. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from U.T. Chattanooga and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

William Hunt

Chief Financial Officer

Bill started his career as a state auditor at Arthur Anderson more than 30 years ago. Over the course of the last three plus decades, he has gained experience in a broad range of settings, from retail department stores to automotive, to the toy industry to real estate and investment. Just prior to joining the Main Street team, Bill worked at Mspark, the largest privately held shared mail company in the United States. Bill is a CPA and a member of the AICPA.
